The School of Mix website shows the Wine 101 course as being 4 weeks long and costs $249 + GST. Is this deal for this course?
What are the schedules for the course? The website doesn't show any information.
And just to confirm, "Wine 101" is the same as "Level One: Introduction to Wine and Wine Appreciation"?
Thanks

Hi I wanted to make sure before I buy, is this course the WSET approved Level 1 that is internationally recognized. I am going into the industry and my friends tell me I should get WSET Level 1. Is the 101 the same?
Thanks

Hi Justine - those are great questions! Please refer to our answers below:
(1) The deal that is offered here in GoodNews is NOT the same as the Wine 101 class in the School of Mix website. The GoodNews deal is a 2 hour Wine Introductory workshop and there is more wine tasting involved compared to the 4 week class (one night a week for 4 weeks ) that is in the School of Mix website. You actually get to taste more variety of wines in this deal that is why it is valued at $200
(2) The schedule will depend on how many participants there will be. The schedule will most likely be on the weekends (Saturday or Sunday) or one night during the weekday.
(3) The Wine 101 is not the same as the "Level One: Introduction to Wine and Wine Appreciation".
We hope that helped answer your questions :)
